Kallemann Records started as an independent record company the winter of ´09 - by founder and CEO to date, Leif Erik Westergren (born August 10, 1978). The company is named after Westergren´s late grandfather, Karl “Kallemann” A. Nilsen. Westergren has over 19 years of professional music experience as a songwriter and continuing touring musician supporting artists and bands including Steve-O, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Murderdolls and Pennywise. Westergren has written several songs placed in American movies, television shows and programs such as “Pool Party”, the NBC and Nickelodeon Tv-series “Sk8”, Steve-O´s (MTV Jackass)Out On Bail” and the Salt Lake City Olympics worldwide television broadcast of the freestyle skiing finals. Westergren has contributed on more than 27 studio releases as a songwriter and musician on various instruments as vocals, guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and harmonicas.

As well as being a notable record label for a careful selection of pioneers, legendary international and national artists- including the Grammy nominated and multi-platinum selling american rock band Everclear, the iconic american pop-punk band The Queers, the controversial Norwegian rap-duo Folkefiender, Ego and the very first Norwegian skatepunk band - a Richard Gottehrer self claimed favorite (Blondie, The Orchard), and first Norwegian punk band to ever play Johnny Depp´s iconic venue "The Viper Room" in Los Angeles - Westergren´s own Darling Daizy, Kallemann Records is also a music publisher for Everclear, featured in more than 15 blockbuster movies soundtracks including “American Pie”, “Rockstar” and “Romeo & Juliet, an artist management, a tour organizer and concert producer for several iconic artists, bands and theatre shows including Grammy lifetime award achiever and Hall of Fame inductee Marky Ramone from the legendary Ramones, the fathers of crossover trash Suicidal Tendencies, Broadway and West End smash-hit shows like “Let It Be”, “Saturday Night Fever” and “FastLove”.
